Only in Nigeria Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization established to execute empowerment programs to all spheres of the Nigerian Society. It is the brain-child of Aderonke Connor (Nee Dairo), a seasoned Health professional and Advocate with over a decade experience in the health sector. She has a wealth of experience in health, training and youth work in the voluntary and charitable sector. The Foundation which was established a few years ago, caters for the less privileged children, trafficked children, sex and domestic violence victims, and children who have been forced into early marriage (as young as 11years).

The foundation provides holistic interventions that meet the needs of vulnerable adolescent girls, especially from poor rural areas, disadvantaged and undeserved groups like married adolescents and girls in humanitarian settings.

The Foundation, however, presents “Aderonke Omo-Dairo Initiative”, an off-shoot of the foundation, whose main aim is to focus and give back to the immediate community where the patron had her childhood. Being well established and settled in the United Kingdom, Aderonke spent her early years in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria where she had her schooling up to Secondary school before leaving Nigeria.

As a certified medical practitioner, she deems it fit to bring her expertise and passion back home, thereby addressing prevalent societal issues and giving back to the less privileged in the society.

She has run numerous youth and female empowerment programmes in the United Kingdom and overseas.

Aderonke brings enormous insight into inter-cultural partnership working, participatory development and project management.
She has studied at Greenwich University and also at the University of Stirling.
