Mr. Amosun Adebowale Abiodun, a resident of Akinyele Local Government Area, Oyo State has scammed Oyo youth, Adediran Azeez with fake business deal and ignored the several calls for refund of the balance he collected from the victim.
Mr. Adediran who could not hold it again after making attempt to retrieve his money back from Mr. Amosun opened up with our correspondence.
According to Mr. Adediran, he met Mr Amosun through a friend about 6 years ago.
After series of conversations about the business Mr. Amosun specialized on, Mr. Adediran gave it a trial to invest a sum of N300,000 into the business by getting grains from the northern part of the country, resell at local market with 10% profit irrespective of amount of profit made by Mr. Amosun after selling it.
Mr. Adediran said he was to get N330,000 in return after the business but Mr. Amosun sent N150,000. He said Mr. Amosun ignored his calls several times, keeps posting him about when the remaining N180,000 balance will be paid.
Our reporter verified through electronic receipt that Mr. Adediran sent the money to Mr. Amosun October 4, 2024
When our reporter contacted Mr. Amosun via telephone conversation on October 31, 2024. He requested for grace before any action is taking against him till November 5, 2024. On the said date, neither did Mr. Amosun sent balance of N180,000 nor did he communicate reasons why he didn’t do so.
When contacted by our reporter on 6th November, 2024, he didn’t pick up his calls again, a text message sent to him was ignored.
The victim of scam business is worried and regretted the trust he has Mr. Amosun who is yet to pay and yet to communicate his creditor.
Mr Amosun’s recalcitrant attitude to offset the balance left urged the public not to transact in any financial value with Mr. Amosun Adebowale Abiodun whose his integrity, trust and handling of people’s hard earned money is in doubt.
