As the battle against piracy rages on, Funke Akindele has apologised to her loyal fans for the piracy of her TV show, Jenifa’s Diary. The Nollywood actress took to her Instagram page to apologise to her fans as well as to inform them that the relevant authorities have been reached to clamp down on the pirates.
She wrote, “Due to piracy affecting the distribution and sales of Jenifas Diary DVD season 5, 6 & 7, I received some complaint from my lovely Jenifans.
“Upon further investigation, we discovered the pirated copies have new episodes that have not yet been released leading to contradictions with the ORIGINAL DVD we released.
